Von Miller joins the Rams
The Los Angeles Rams have today traded their second and third round draft picks in 2022 draft for Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller. The second overall pick in the 2011 draft from Texas A&M will join Aaron Donald to provide the rams with one of the best pass rushing offences the NFL will of ever seen.
Miller has been a star ever since he entered the league, winning the Superbowl MVP IN 2015 when his Denver Broncos defeated an explosive Carolina Panthers 24-10, with Miller recording six tackles, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two Quarterback hurries to break Cam Newtons heart. One of the fumbles allowed Defensive End Malik Jackson to score the first fumble return in the Superbowl since Superbowl XXVIII. Following his performance in the 2015 Superbowl, the Broncos placed a franchise tag on Miller, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent.
Following this, Miller then signed a 6 year deal in Denver worth $114.5. million. Miller has taken the league by storm ever since his debut in 2011, recording 110.5 total sacks, 507 tackles, 2 interceptions and one touchdown in 141 games, a phenomenal record. With the addition of Von Miller and how strongly the Rams have started this season, they now are definitely Superbowl contenders, especially with Matthew Staffords form, in a 38-22 victory over Houston last night, Stafford threw for 305 yards and 3 touchdowns and had a QB rating of 138.6.
